Everybody who owns a pair of shoes should have a Woly 3×3 protector. For every pair of shoes you sell, or every shoe repair service you deliver, your customer should be walking away with this product. We have found that a great way of selling 3×3 is by introducing the product ‘gently’ …

TIPS TO SELL: Nobody likes a hard sell, and if you genuinely believe your customer needs this product then it can soon turn around and reward you with a sale.

1. When you purchase Woly 3×3, take just one can out of stock and keep it behind your counter for staff use.
2. When a customer comes to the till with a new pair of shoes, take the protector out and gently spray them with 3×3.
3. Whilst you are coating the shoes, explain what you are doing. ‘I am just protecting them to help repel water, dirt and dust and prevent future damage or colour fade’ etc…. The customer now believes you have a genuine concern for the ‘well-being’ of their shoes and (we hope) is keen to see more.
4. After spraying, place a can on the counter and whilst completing the purchase through the till, ask casually ‘Would you like to take a can of the Protector with you today?’ We are sure they will say yes…

– If you have a repair shop; place Woly 3×3 on your counter top – in perfect view of all customers. When you are giving a customer their shoes back and after explaining what you have done to them – say you finished them with Woly Protector and explain why. Then once at the till point, casually ask ‘Would you like to take the Protector with your shoes today?’.

It is all about introducing the product informally. ‘Planting the seed’ so it is at the back of the customers mind, then retouching on it again, and then finishing with a leading question is key to finish the sale.

TIPS TO POSITION AND PLACE:

Woly 3×3 is a household name and deserves pride of place in any shoe shop, shoe repairers or any other retail store. Whether it be on a CDU, FSU or slat walling display, it is key that 3×3 is in direct eye line of a customer. As it is a tall 300ml can, making sure it is in the middle of a shelf is essential in delivering the best type of display and drawing as much attention to the middle of the shelf or stand, as possible by forcing the customer to look at it.
